Author visit

Sarah Webb

Last Friday 16th October – 5th & 6th class had a zoom call with an Irish author called Sarah Webb. She answered some questions and gave us ideas for Autumn poems.

We got to ask lots of questions; we asked about her dog, who is called Lucky, tips to be a writer, her motto in life and many more. She told us that her book Animal Crackers was one of her favourites as she loves animals. One of the tips she gave to people who wanted to be authors was to read lots of books.

Some people read their autumn poems. At the end she showed us her Halloween costume. She also showed us some of the books she wrote e.g. Blazing A Trail, Irish Women who Changed the World.
