A meeting of the Board of Management was held in the school on Tuesday 18th September.
Matters discussed included:
Enrolment/Staffing.
Child Protection.
Standardised Tests results from June (Classes 1st-6th)
Ratification of revised policies:
Code of Discipline, Anti-Bullying, Equality of Opportunity, Complaints Procedures.
Finances.
The cessation of the Minor Works grant was noted with dismay. This leaves the Board with a shortfall of €7000 on last year’s budget.
The Capitation grant has also been reduced.
