Digital School’s Award for Kilcleagh N.S.
We have become one of the first primary Schools in Westmeath to receive a “Digital Schools of Distinction Award.” This award is to acknowledge best practice use of ICT to promote and enhance pupils learning experiences in school. The school had to meet specific criteria before applying for the award. We were then visited by a validator where the teachers and pupils had a chance to demonstrate excellence in their approach to the integration of ICT in teaching and learning.
Along with the award the school receives a HP laptop with Microsoft software including Windows 8, Office 365 and educational apps and access to education ICT specialists. Well done to all at Kilcleagh.
