Every year in Spring Junior & Senior Infants take part in The Incredible Edibles Programme.
This year we planted potatoes, scallions and strawberries in our raised bed outside our classroom. We also sowed some nasturtium seeds in little pots. We have them on the windowsill in our room. We are watching very carefully for the tiny green shoots.
We learned a poem about plants and we also learned a garden song called “One potato, two potatoes.”
