On Wednesday last we were delighted and honoured to welcome Bishop Francis Duffy to our school. He came to visit the 6th class pupils prior to their Confirmation Day which is this Friday. Some of the class were attending a Soccer Blitz in Athlone earlier in the day and were lucky enough to get back in time to meet with him. We played music and sang songs for him before he left and he seemed to enjoy his visit.
