This year St. Patrick’s Day, Mother’s Day and Easter all seemed to come together. We were very busy practising our Irish tunes during Seachtain na Gaeilge, the senior classes learned two lively polkas and a haunting version of “Róisín Dubh.” Ms. Leslie’s class did some beautiful stitching and the infants made cute little green St. Patrick’s and lovely yellow chicks. We put up our stations of the Cross and made Easter decorations as well. On the day of the holidays we had our Easter raffle and had lots of happy prizewinners!
Here are snapshots of all these activities.
