There is a great tradition of Gaelic football in our school. Every year we take part in Cumann na mBunscoil School League.This year we have played Clonbonny,Ballinahown,Ardnagrath and Tang and Miltownpass. We won all of our matches except our last match against Miltownpass.They gave us a great match but were deserving winners on the day.We have now qualified for the semi finals which are against Sonna sometime in March.
On May 21st our girls football team played in the final of the Cumann na mBun Scol tournament in Cusack Park, Mullingar. We were up against a brilliant team from The Downs who came our winners on the day. We, however, are very proud of our achievement.
