We are delighted to let you know that we have recently been awarded a Silver ACE Award from the HSE Community Nutrition and Dietetic Service (Midlands). This involved a lot of time and effort and was done in conjunction with the Health Promoting School initiative. All classes participated and addressed different topics each month recording samples of work for submission towards the Silver Flag. This is a great achievement as it was our first year participating and we are now hoping to work towards the Gold Flag which is the next step before ultimately working for Platinum.
