Pancake Tuesday

Tuesday February 28th was a very busy day in Ms. O’Connell’s room. We made pancakes!

We cracked the eggs, we mixed the flour and milk, we stirred the batter and then we cooked. After that came the best bit……we ate our pancakes!

We had made lots of batter and Ms O’Connell kept frying until everybody in the school had some and the teachers all had one for their lunch.

We put sugar, lemon and maple syrup on them – but everybody’s favourite was Nutella!

We learned a rhyme about making pancakes and we listened to a story about a very bold pancake who ran away because he did not want to eaten!

Junior infants drew some wonderful pancake pictures and Senior infants wrote our poem.

We took lots of photos so you can see what fun we had!
