The Moon

Junior & Senior Infants have been learning about “The Moon.”

We talked about when and where we see the moon. We looked at all the different shapes the moon can take. We learned words like “crescent”, “full moon”, “rocket” and “astronaut.” We learned a song about the moon called “I see the moon.”

We wrote about the moon, we drew pictures of the moon and then we made our very own moons using pegs, counters, márla and string.

In music we listened to a beautiful piece of music called “The Moonlight Sonata” by Beethoven.

Last of all we read a story called “Guess How Much I Love You?”

The answer is “To the Moon and Back!”
