Autumn and Hibernation

We have been talking about Autumn during the last few weeks. We learned lots of Autumn rhymes about the colourful leaves tumbling down.

We read some wonderful Autumn stories about big trees and little hedgehogs and squirrels.

We sang songs about leaves falling down and we even have one about the big word we learned – Hibernation.

We made our own Autumn landscape – using handprints and we added some hedgehogs and gorgeous red squirrels.

We brought in leaves for our Nature table and we made some little hedgehogs from márla – they are happily hibernating there.

Have a look at our photos and sing along to our favourite Autumn song
