Autumn Landscape

We in Junior and Senior Infants have been learning all about Autumn.  We listened to some Autumn stories about Sammy Squirrel and Harry Hedgehog. We learned a song about Sammy called “Grey Squirrel” and we learned another one about Harry getting ready for his long winter sleep. We practised say a very big word “Hibernation.” We learned some poems about Autumn leaves as well.

For art we did some hand print trees using the Autumn colours and then we make an Autumn landscape using lots of Autumn things we found on our nature walk.

We made some cute little hedgehogs using márla and they are sleeping among the leaves.

Have a look at our photos.
