Junior & Senior Infants have been learning lots about tadpoles and frogs. Emma from 4th class brought us in some frogspawn and some very tiny tadpoles. We kept them just outside our door and we had a lovely big Mammy frog keeping an eye on them. We fed them fish food every day and they grew so fast.
We saw them get back legs and then little front legs and when their tails began to get shorter it was time for Emma to put them back where she got them!
We learned froggy poems and a funny froggy song. Finally we made our own frogs and talked about their life cycle.
