These are some poems that our class worked on for the credit union competition. Ms. Corbett worked with us to edit and perfect our poems. We enjoyed the experience very much and are very proud of our work.

Of a 20 euro note.

Of a precious sapphire.
Blue is the colour,
Of bluebirds on a wire.

Of you when you’re sad.
Blue is the colour,
Of tears in your hand.
Blue is the colour,
Of Chelsea soccer team.
They lost 12-0,
To Man U. in my dream.

Of one end of my rubber.
Blue is not the colour,
Of a nice cucumber.
